The singer spent time with her mom Shari Johnson-Jefferson in a video posted on Instagram on Nov. 22
Lizzo and her mom are twinning!
On Friday, Nov. 22, the singer, 36, showed off her continued weight loss as she posted a funny video on Instagram of herself and her mom Shari Johnson-Jefferson sporting matching braided hairstyles while on a car ride together.
“My mom stole my hairstyle & ate me up 😫,” Lizzo wrote in the caption.
In the clip, which played along to audio from The Kardashians of Kim Kardashian talking about her sister Kourtney Kardashian copying her, Lizzo posed and modeled two extra-long pigtails while wearing a white off-the-shoulder dress, sparkly silver eyeshadow and pink blush.
Lizzo then pointed to her mom in a following clip, as she appeared with the same hairstyle while wearing a black and white animal print jacket and red lipstick.
The mother-daughter duo next appeared sitting next to each other in the car, as Lizzo focused the camera on her face and stroked one of her braids.
As she panned the camera over to her mom, Johnson-Jefferson could then be seen doing the same.

In an earlier post, Lizzo shared several photos of her new braided hairstyle while posing in what appeared to be the same car.
“Last night I wore milkmaid braids 😝,” the “About Damn Time” singer explained of her look in the caption.
Lizzo appeared to make several poses in the shots, as she stuck out her tongue, smiled and winked at the camera.
The “Special” singer’s latest post comes as she has been documenting her fitness journey on social media in recent months by posting clips of her working hard in the gym.
The four-time Grammy winner recently shut down rumors of taking Ozempic — the FDA-approved prescription medication for people with type 2 diabetes — to help lose weight.
Lizzo posted a video earlier this year of herself smiling for the camera as she wrote, “When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit,” soundtracked by a popular TikTok audio of Christoph Waltz’s character in Django Unchained saying, “It’s like a reward.”
